Seasonal Driver Helper - Sheffield

Job Summary
This position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations along a specified route. This position performs physical, fast-paced environment involving continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication. This is a fixed term position and will end on 24th December 2025.

As well as receiving Health and Safety training relevant to your role, rest assured that we have implemented stringent safety measures in all of our facilities during the ongoing Coronavirus climate, to include social distancing, more frequent facility deep cleaning and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the job.
Hourly Salary:
£12.21 per hour
Hours:
08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (40 hours) if you meet our driver at our Sheffield depot based in S20
OR
10:00 - 14:00, Monday to Friday (20 hours) if you meet our driver on the delivery route
Responsibilities:
Delivers and picks up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.
Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
Complies with UPS appearance guidelines
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
Strong customer service skills
