Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Annotator to join our dynamic team and play a key role in improving the accuracy and reliability of our AI models through high quality data labeling. The ideal candidate will work on annotating diverse data types, including text, images, videos, and audio, depending on project requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Accurately label, categorize, and annotate diverse data types (text, image, video, audio, etc.) in accordance with project guidelines.
- Execute and oversee precise annotation of multimodal data using specialized labeling tools and platforms.
- Ensure consistent quality across all annotations, even when handling repetitive or large-scale data sets.
- Perform high-volume data annotation with speed and accuracy, meeting daily and weekly productivity targets.
- Maintain focus and performance during long annotation sessions without compromising attention to detail.
- Review datasets to identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or errors.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, and domain experts to ensure annotation outputs meet model and project requirements.
- Maintain and refine annotation guidelines, and labeling taxonomies aligned with project objectives.
- Evaluate and rate AI-generated content, comparing responses, assessing factual accuracy and citation correctness.
- Learn and adapt to new tools, workflows, and annotation guidelines to contribute effectively across multiple projects and domains.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of various annotation techniques, like bounding boxes, segmentation, keypoint annotation, text classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), speech transcription, LLM response evaluation/grading, preference-based labeling, etc.
- Strong attention to details and ability to understand and follow complex instructions.
- ISTQB CT-AI certified candidates are preferred. Proficiency with annotation tools such as Label Studio, CVAT, Labelme, or similar tools.
- Ability to work with Excel/Google Sheets, and Jira.
- Familiarity with XAML and JSON data formats.
- Ability to run Python scripts for automation, data validation, and QA reporting.
- Effective communication, analytical, and logical reasoning abilities, complemented by a strong proficiency in English.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
