Currently hiring Pipefitters for projects in Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas. As a Pipefitter your primary responsibility is reading and interpreting blueprints to accurately install, fabricate, and assemble piping systems. Pay is $25 - $30 based on skill set and level of experience. If you have 5+ years’ experience as a pipefitter, apply now!

Pipefitter Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
• Cut, thread, bend, weld, and assemble pipes of various materials (copper, steel, plastic, cast iron, and stainless steel)
• Install, fabricate, and assemble pipes, valves, fittings, and pressure regulators for water, gas, steam, and other systems
• Test systems using pressure gauges and other methods to detect leaks or defects
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing piping systems
• Assist with rigging, millwright work, and other related duties on large-scale projects, including pipe setting and bending

Pipefitter Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as a pipefitter
• Able to travel locally as needed
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Your own PPE
• Experience with gas lines is a plus
