- Draw/coordinate on a large variety of new and existing construction projects based on information derived from MEP construction drawings.

| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- High school diploma/GED is required.
|
| PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- One or more years of electrical design experience or technical training is preferred.
- Job site/field experience is preferred.
- Experience in the electrical construction industry is preferred.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
|
- Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interpret design and construction documents.
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems.
- General working knowledge of common computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Must have a thorough working knowledge of construction software applications, including Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Trimble.
- Must have a thorough understanding of Autodesk Revit, including the ability to create Revit worksheets, manipulate Revit families, and perform similar Revit functions.
- Must be fluent in the 2D and 3D space and be able to read 2D plans and coordinate in 3D with other trades.
- Attention to detail and the ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously, changing priorities as necessary.
- Must be a team player and possess the ability to share valuable information with team members to increase department expertise.
- Must be able to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.

| JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |

- Setup of Revit views and sheets in preparation for field installation
- Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation
- Utilize Bluebeam Revu software to markup PDF drawings and communicate with team members
- Prepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other parties
- Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint, or other project websites (BIM 360, etc.).
- Verify accuracy of work before sending on to next steps.
- 3D modeling of all electrical systems and developing design drawings.
- Utilize BIM to increase the team’s understanding of problems and solutions and assist the construction and field team in solving issues throughout the project.
- BIM coordination and preparation of field and pre-fab drawings, reports, and schedules
- Maintain project files
- Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity and learn how to use all software options
- Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
