We are currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Supervisor for our Goldsboro Complex. The Refrigeration Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of a crew of Refrigeration technicians assigned to his/her shift as well as ensuring the proper upkeep and function of the PSM Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::- Provide guidance and leadership to all Refrigeration personnel on shift.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all refrigeration, boilers and Chemical equipment in the facility through the administration of a preventive maintenance program.
- Ensure equipment is in working order and working conditions are safe at all times.
- Manage overall Refrigeration work quality and completion of tasks to ensure all standards and specifications are met.
- Assist employees with troubleshooting problems and coaching them through making the correct adjustments.
- Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
- Champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
- Manage and monitor all tasks, logs and paperwork related to PSM
- Excellent communications skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Poultry Refrigeration Operations or transferable skill-sets from food manufacturing process in a similar industry.
- Ability to work with computers, Office programs, as well as payroll, attendance, and performance tracking software.
- 2-5 years experience managing hourly associates at the frontline level, preferably in poultry processing.
- In-depth knowledgeable of applicable fields, like Pneumatics, Plumbing, Electricity, Hydraulics, and general Refrigeration of industrial equipment.
- Certifications and or schooling in Ammonia systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of PLCs and electronics.

- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by Case Farms.
- Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, twisting.
