Sr. Statistical Analysts en Vanda Pharmaceuticals

Job Location: 2200 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Ste. 300E, Washington, D.C. 20037

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Statistical Analyst will be responsible for the development, validation, maintenance, and documentation of programming codes used in the analysis of clinical trials.

Specific job duties include:

1. Provide statistical programming support for multiple clinical research projects or regulatory submissions;
2. Produce and/or validate datasets, analyses, tabulations, graphics and listings of clinical trials data; and
3. Contribute to on-going quality improvement efforts within the project.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Employer requires a Master’s degree in Statistics or closely related field and three (3) years of work experience in any occupation within the pharmaceutical industry responsible for the production and reviewing of datasets, analyses, tabulations, graphics and listings from clinical trial data.

In addition, employer requires:

1. Demonstrated ability with development, documentation, and testing of analysis data and programming code to meet regulatory and company standards gained through three (3) years of work experience;
2. Demonstrated knowledge of Version 9: Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro language, and SAS SQL gained through three (3) years of work experience; and
3. Demonstrated knowledge of CDISCs such as Study Data Tabulation Models (SDTM) gained three (3) years of work experience.

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.                            

Salary: One hundred fifteen thousand to one hundred thirty-five thousand dollars per year
