Location:  Rochester, MN Office

Widseth is seeking a Land Survey Technician to support a wide range of residential and commercial survey projects, including ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, subdivision platting, and construction staking. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both fieldwork and technical drafting and wants to grow with a respected multidisciplinary firm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform field surveys under the direction of a licensed land surveyor or engineer.
• Utilize equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and Automatic Levels to collect and verify accurate data.
• Create topographic and contour maps and prepare survey drawings and documentation using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and the public, maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Ensure survey results comply with legal and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of field survey experience.
• Associate’s degree in Land Surveying or Civil Technology.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and modern surveying instruments.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
