 Position Purpose: Responsible for scheduling, coordinating and arranging the delivery of products in an  efficient and timely manner, influencing a strong safety culture. Provide effective communication between drivers and management team.

Primary Role Expectations: 

• Implement daily transportation plans to meet delivery dates, serving as the primary contact for hauling operations.  

• Organize truck loads and routing schedules for increased efficiency and profitability.

• Collaborate with Fleet Services Supervisor in scheduling of all Drivers.  

• Coordinate and monitor customer orders using ABIS.  

• Communicate results and issues to appropriate team members including sales and operations.  

• Create and maintain shipping reports. 

Requirements

Qualifications:  

•  Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function. 
•  Working knowledge of laws, regulations and DOT requirements. 
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.  
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.  
• Proficient with Office Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn and use ERP systems. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions.  

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of dispatch or logistics coordination experience.  

• High School diploma or equivalent.  

• Valid driver's license. 

 Physical Requirements:  

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.  

• Walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time are all required physical aspects of the job.
