Full Circle is seeking a Tax Partner to join our growing team!
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to a broad range of high-net-worth individuals, executives and business owners and related entities in accordance with organizations Client Service Standards
- Demonstrate technical competence in specialty expertise (in Income tax, Compliance, and Planning)
- Manage engagements/assignments in a consistently profitable manner.
- Review client engagement/assignment documentation returns and work papers for accuracy.
- Supervision of client engagement/assignment procedures
- Development of team members – serve as mentor, advisor, team leader, and/or Career Advocate (CA)
- Provide team members with timely and candid performance feedback supporting the firm’s performance management process.
- Plan and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to recognize, research, document and satisfactorily resolve technical issues.
- Generate new business and retain current business.
- Expand services to existing clients.
• Assume overall responsibility for all engagements, staffing assignments and workflow within the group.
• Display the highest degree of technical and professional competence.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze financial data and draw reasonable conclusions.
• Display the ability to make sound business decisions.
• Assume overall responsibility for all staff assigned to his or her group, including overseeing the semi-annual performance review process.
• Prepare client billings and monitor and collect receivables.
• Develop policies and procedures to increase productivity and fees.
• Visit client site to conduct work, as needed.
• Participate in marketing and business development training sessions and expand marketing, communication and selling skills.
• Participate in firm activities such as training and recruiting.
• Identify and develop areas of specialty and expertise.
• Develop relationships with internal and external client personnel, bankers and attorneys etc.
• Build in-depth knowledge of your key client industries, seek opportunities, join industry organizations, and develop a targeted potential client pool.
• Represent the firm at special public events and private functions.
• Network with other principals, refer business, and promote each other’s specialties.
• Mentor staff in building client relationships/selling services.
Preferred Experience/Background/Skills:
- CPA or law degree required.
- Five or more years of applicable experience in individual income tax planning and compliance.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Ability to research technical issues and document results.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and develop individuals and/or large groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strict adherence to professional ethics.
- Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm.
