Duties/Responsibilities

  • Maintain private pay resident accounts in the current EMR software.
  • Post private pay residents’ payments
  • Respond to resident and family member’s billing inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and update current resident files as needed.
  • Assist Third Party Billing team with Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance related tasks
  • Participate in marketing efforts and events.
  • Maintain an effective relationship with all communities and co-workers.
  • Carry out responsibilities in an ethical, professional and confidential manner.

 

Qualifications

  • At minimum, a high school degree, together with one to three years of successful work-related experience in customer service, bookkeeping or accounting, is preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in an independent environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, basic/standard computer systems, office equipment, and other skills as necessary.

 

Preferred: Experience working with Medicaid Billing
