Job Description

Operator 2 – Crush / Refining
Location: 301 Lafayette St., Mexico, MO 65265
Shift: 3rd Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Job Type: Full Time 
Compensation: $22.58/hour; plus $1.00 shift differential

Job Duties
  • Relieve/rotate with Extraction and Prep Operator 1.
  • Assist Operator 1 with process operations, sampling and analysis, and assigned tasks.
  • Perform assigned safety, environmental, regulatory, housekeeping and operational inspections and tasks.
  • Identify and perform minor maintenance of process systems, grounds and buildings.
  • Perform industrial filter cleanings, polish filter and filter element changes.
  • Preparation of process aides and chemicals for use in the utility (i.e. boiler/cooling tower) or process (i.e. extraction, refinery, filtration) systems.
  • Duties requested by Supervisor/Management.
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation  
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) 
  • Ability to work in elevated areas 
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) 
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shifts

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay for this position is expected to be:

$22.58/hour + $1.00 shift differential
