Unit Description:Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 1,500 video gaming machines and brings the thrill of live thoroughbred racing from April to November and year-round simulcast wagering on thoroughbred and harness racing from across the country. Finger Lakes presents various dining options including a large buffet.
Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise team, providing planning and scheduling of work assignments, and performance development
- Participate in the selection and training of new team members, working to ensure they are knowledgeable of laws and procedures
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues
- Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports
- Monitor inventory supplies for cage operations
- Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable
- Monitor the ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed
- Maintain the supervisor bank transactions daily when necessary
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
- Must be able to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile vault
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high volume environment required
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
- No college degree required
- Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to bend and life occasionally, stand for long periods of time
- Gaming environment, environment may be smoky with moderate-to-high noise levels
