JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Executive Director of Quality, Risk, & Process Improvement provides administrative oversight of the Amberwell Health organizations’ Quality, Risk Management and Process Improvement programs. The oversight includes leading personnel, providing on-going quality improvements and monitoring of ongoing processes across the organizations, as well as ensuring current standards are met and appropriate training and resources are available to staff.
This position reports to the Amberwell Health CEO (or designee) and will have communication responsibilities to facility leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Leadership, oversight, and coordination of organization-wide assessment and management of comprehensive quality program to meet the organizational strategic initiatives and scope of services.
- Leading process improvement initiatives and teams.
- Facilitates communication that fosters interdisciplinary communication and collaboration with the Board, senior leadership, medical staff, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ensures organizational improvement activities meet accreditation and regulatory requirements for this function.
- Leads survey preparedness activities as directed.
- Supports administration and leadership in efforts related to this role.
Contributes to overall culture of organization in a positive manner.

Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience:
- Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years of Quality or Clinical Experience
- Preferred: 5+ Years of Quality/PI Senior Leadership
- Education:
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelors Degree of Nursing.
- Preferred Education: Masters in Health Administration or Business Administration
- Licenses:
- Minimum Required Licenses: Kansas RN License
- Preferred Licenses: n/a
- Certifications:
- Minimum Required: N/A
- Preferred Certifications: CPHQ, FACHE
