Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
- Lead daily maintenance efforts to support 24/7 production.
- Oversee and manage the CMMS, ensuring accurate asset tracking, work order execution, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance turnarounds and unplanned downtimes to minimize operational disruption.
- Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and training for maintenance coverage across all shifts.
Reliability & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze downtime and maintenance trends to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and EHS teams to optimize equipment design and performance.
- Lead reliability-centered projects aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and cost control.
- Adhere to and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance and asset performance.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and industry regulations.
- Champion a strong safety culture through leadership, training, and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and regulatory inspections.
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise and coach maintenance staff and contractors, promoting accountability and professional growth.
- Coordinate technical and safety training programs for continuous team development.
- Manage vendor relationships for equipment, spare parts, and contracted maintenance services.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience in the same or similar position will be strongly considered as well
- 7+ years of maintenance leadership in heavy industrial environments like petrochemical or refining or other (24/7 operations highly preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with CMMS platforms and data-driven maintenance strategies.
- Expertise in preventive/predictive maintenance and managing large-scale turnarounds.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, PSM, etc.).
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
