Role: Responsible for ensuring our guests experience excellent salon services while in the salon; to perform job responsibilities satisfactorily and to according to department standards. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year experience in hair services.
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and coordination skills.
- Skilled in multi tasking.
- Pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting guests and associates.
- Adaptability to varying schedule changes and flexibility with schedule including ability to work holidays.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
- Minimum two years salon hair experience.
- Valid Nevada License of Cosmetology specializing in hair or full cosmetology.
- Clark County Health Card.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Perform salon hair services as assigned according to spa salon policies, protocols and standards.
- Analyze and consult about hair care with guests.
- Assist Lead Stylist in all salon ordering of products.
- Assist in conducting monthly inventory.
- Monitor salon equipment status and maintenance.
- Ability or work under time constraints.
- Must be able to perform up-dos and hair color services.
- Have the concept of product knowledge and retail sales. Assist in achieving retail sales goals.
- Have knowledge and usage of implements.
- Have knowledge of state board regulations for disinfecting and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work without an assistant.
- Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

Work is performed in a spa and salon environment and in other locations throughout the property. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
