As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of both new and existing businesses within your assigned portfolio of accounts. Your primary goal is to increase revenue by acquiring new customers, expanding relationships with current clients, and delivering exceptional service that fosters long-term loyalty. Your success in this role means consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets, growing account revenue, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Your Responsibilities:
Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers, including the customer’s C-suite level
Utilize sales tools such as Microsoft Office and Sales CRM (customer relationship management tool)
Spend the appropriate time on prospecting activities to create enough leads/opportunities to achieve sales target on new business. Identify opportunities in existing accounts (volume, unit margin, other products) and spot opportunities in other areas of the business (cross leads). Collaborate with salespeople within their channel and across other business lines to ensure customer receives excellent service and respond to cross leads within 24 hours.
Communicate internally with key stakeholders and groups to ensure great customer experience
Develop account plans with high gain customers and execute against plans. Monitor accounts to ensure volume and gm is performing as planned on existing accounts and new opportunities
Discover and capture all pertinent customer information on the opportunity, keep sales pipeline current with only those opportunities that are progressing to commitment, and capture all customer conversations & information in the CRM
Understand credit granting requirements, customer pricing options, complex opportunities and submit complex deals for approval as required
Identify accounts that are retention risks and develop retention strategy
Participating in sales meetings as laid out in the sales management meeting cadence
Handle incoming customer requests by completing tasks and/or working with internal team to find solutions - card order, billing problem, tech issue, site issue, billing question, reporting, etc.
Your Skills:
Strong knowledge of our company and offering
Sales Designation (or willingness to obtain) considered an asset
Must be able to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Proven ability to prospect new accounts
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
Your Experience:
5+ years of relatable experience in sales/marketing and customer service
Experience in the petroleum industry is an asset
