General Information:
The Specialist - Sales Analysis establishes sales planning, forecasting, and analysis processes and maintains respective tools and programs to support the assigned business organization at the local, regional, or global level. This role ensures accurate sales and revenue planning and works closely with multiple departments to maintain contract and customer account integrity while supporting budgeting and reporting efforts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support sales and business managers in sales planning, revenue forecasting, and the creation of related reports.
- Prepare and steer the budgeting and planning process, monitor adherence to budgets, and analyze deviations.
- Generate regular reports on revenues, costs, and budgets, providing expert advice on budget developments.
- Implement, utilize, and maintain the sales planning system, including managing content and parameters in cooperation with service providers.
- Review customer contracts and purchase orders; maintain the SAP system and perform customer account follow-ups.
- Administer and report on customer internet sites as required.
- Create and monitor sample/prototype orders, acting as liaison with customer service accounts and Schaeffler affiliates.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to follow up on past due customer accounts, manage credits/debits, and handle invoicing.
- Maintain tooling documentation via CTI and support tooling reimbursement processes with customers.
- Collect and maintain contracts; ensure customers acknowledge or refute contractual agreements in a timely manner.
- Support and manage customer capacity analysis; keep updated information stored in Contract Works.
- Manage customer pricing initiatives in Portal and SAP, ensuring pricing remains current and accurate.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and data analytics.
- Experience with contract and invoice review processes.
- Fundamental understanding of SAP systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with Power BI or similar analytical/reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively with a multinational team.
- Willingness to travel 5-10% across the US and Mexico.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
