This new position joins Lenovo's AI Governance and Product Security organization within the Chief AI Office in our mission of enabling security and trust in Lenovo's use of AI technology in product development. The AI Governance and Product Security Office works across all Lenovo's business and product areas to ensure AI tools are used in accordance with Company standards and international regulations, and products are developed and implemented with industry best practices for security.We are seeking an experienced Security and Technology Project Manager with a background in complex enterprise security or GRC programs to support the development and implementation of AI governance and product security processes for WW offerings.As government and industry regulations change across the globe, this PM must maintain an understanding of global requirements on AI, security and privacy from local governments and industries, working across multiple internal Lenovo business units, the Chief Security Office, Legal, and Product Development in each BU to ensure implementation of AI governance processes and tools. The focus will be on delivering and managing a detailed plan and strategy for reviews of AI projects and tools, new security regulations, and driving implementation across product units.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement standardized project processes for Responsible AI and LLM security reviews, develop tailored methodologies, and produce standardized workflows to promote operational excellence.Establish and promote cross-functional collaboration within the CAIO and CSO project teams, and foster effective communication to achieve project objectives.Prioritize the AI Governance team's workload and strategic project planning across concurrent projects, and coordinate resources to advance program progress and achieve overall project goals.Lead and manage the implementation of a detailed plan and strategy for review of LLMs and AI systems, accounting for business unit requirements and new security regulations.Develop and report AI governance and security metrics, ensuring clear and accurate communication regarding Risk, Compliance, reporting/KPIs, programmatic efforts, practices, projects and metrics.Communicate and manage messaging across Lenovo businesses and work with cross-functional teams (i.e., Legal, Product Development Teams, Digital Transformation) to ensure Compliance.Basic Qualifications8+ years experience in IT Experience integrating Governance, Risk, and Compliance practices into IT processesExperience delivering and managing IT and security solutions at the enterprise level (including RFIs, detailed solution design and implementation).Preferred QualificationsStrong experience in GRC project management fundamentals and industry best-practices in secure development processes.Broad experience with SW technical requirements for security of enterprise and client systems, along with understanding of services and solutions development.Self-motivated and results driven; mid-level leadership skills, ability to motivate & cultivate a collaborative work environment.Ability to multi-task and achieve results in a high-pressure environment while adapting to the changing demands of the business. Comfortable communicating with and presenting to executives.We are open to considering remote candidates for this position; however, preference will be given to candidates based in Raleigh, NC, where our North America headquarters is located.The base salary budgeted range for this position is $100,000 - 125,000. Individuals will also be eligible for a 12% annual performance bonus.
