As a Community Manager, you’ll oversee a multi-million-dollar property, managing everything from leasing and resident relations to marketing, maintenance, and team development. You’ll drive sales, ensure performance, and lead your team to success. This role requires strong leadership, customer service, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Renovation Oversight

  • Coordinate daily renovation activities with construction teams, vendors, and contractors.

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Conduct unit walks before, during, and after renovation to ensure completion aligns with scope.

  • Track unit turns and ensure newly renovated units are ready for leasing on schedule.

Resident Relations

  • Communicate renovation schedules, updates, and impacts to residents in a clear and professional manner.

  • Manage resident concerns or complaints related to construction with empathy and urgency.

  • Plan and execute retention strategies to maintain resident satisfaction during disruptions.

Leasing & Financial Management

  • Support leasing efforts to maintain occupancy during renovation phases.

  • Review rent rolls, renewal reports, and market comps to identify revenue opportunities.

  • Monitor expenses and submit purchase orders/invoices in alignment with budgets.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and motivate on-site staff (leasing, maintenance, vendors).

  • Provide training and performance feedback to ensure efficient operations.

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service excellence.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all work adheres to company policies, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Maintain detailed reports on renovation progress, unit status, and budget tracking.

  • Report project milestones, challenges, and delays to leadership proactively.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of property management or construction management experience; renovation experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of multifamily operations and value-add renovation processes.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Entrata or similar property management software.

  • CAM or similar certification a plus.
