We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Sampling Coordinator to join our team based in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
As our Regional Sampling Coordinator (Exeter) you will co-ordinate the delivery of the annual (potable and waste) mandatory water quality sampling programmes and all other operational and special monitoring programmes set by the Company and its customers as appropriate, and ensure that standards are maintained and improved through a quality assurance approach.

What You'll Be Doing:
To develop and implement Cryptosporidium monitoring across all Water In Supply zones on a quarterly basis and ensure timely renumeration for customers, sampling rigs are maintained in working order, health & safety of the activity is considered and risks eliminated, written communications to customers are developed and the procedure is streamlined and informed through experience.
Review and maintain chlorine control charts, proficiency testing and associated activities
Monitoring, operating and further developing the sample management system including data pre-registration and mobile computing.
Recruiting, developing and reviewing the performance of the Water Quality Technicians providing training and guidance where required to empower their continual professional development, ensuring optimum sampling support to the business.
Carrying out NVQ assessments (Monitoring the Water Environment) as a qualified NVQ assessor and to perform Internal Verification of the NVQ process (Monitoring the Water Environment) as a Qualified Internal Verifier.
Monitoring and developing satisfactory sampling points and facilities with reference to ‘fit for purpose’ and health and safety requirements.
Developing and implementing potable quality sampling programmes to achieve the mandatory requirements as defined in the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations, and the requirements associated with Operator Self-Monitoring Regulations.
Conducting internal audits to evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of staff and the data recording methods and systems and providing reports and additional training if required.
What We're Looking For:
A level or equivalent in a relevant science subject
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience of sampling techniques and team organisation
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and Sample Manager
Good geographical knowledge of the South West region
