The Manager, Compliance & Strategic Projects ensures the clinic remains compliant with accreditation requirements while keeping day to day operations running smoothly. This role combines structured project management with hands on operational and administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to support both compliance and clinic operations.
Essential Duties:
- Create checklists, workflows, and reminders for AAAHC and other accreditation requirements.
- Track deadlines such as policy reviews, credentialing renewals, and equipment checks.
- Coordinate documentation and ensure staff complete compliance tasks on time
- Compare vendor quotes, escalate issues, and maintain contracts/agreements.
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately and tracked.
- Prepare for inspections, donor visits, and clinic events.
- Coordinate logistics, including agendas, room setup, materials, food, and communication.
- Ensure staff and leadership are briefed and supported during visits and events.
- Support cross-departmental projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Surface and resolve operational roadblocks early.
- Draft process guides or SOPs to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
- Communicate updates clearly and regularly to staff and leadership.
- Actively foster a culture of empathy, excellence, evolution, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to bodily autonomy
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in project and organizational change management
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time
- Ability to respond enthusiastically and positively to ambiguity
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; able to conduct pragmatic analysis, and distill insights and recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications
- Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills
- Highly collaborative and proven ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team structure
- Highly proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, especially presentation and spreadsheet applications
- Expertise with project management software (strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of the political landscape involving abortion care (preferred)
- Previous experience in abortion care or reproductive health (strongly preferred)
