Position Summary:
AAC is seeking a high-integrity, purpose-driven Practice Manager to support operational excellence within our Office-Based Anesthesia (OBA) practices in the Southwest market. This role focuses on managing clinical and administrative teams, driving profitability, and ensuring compliance with both regulatory and AAC best practices.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong emphasis on process efficiency, practice growth, and team collaboration. They will also be committed to fostering relationships with local leadership, clinicians, and clients to support long-term success.

Candidates must be local to Dallas, Texas, and willing to travel within the Southwest (Texas market) 1–2x monthly to meet with clients, prospects, and team members. Occasional travel to AAC’s corporate office in Chicago (2x/year) is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Manage operational KPIs and client profitability. Collaborate closely with the Anesthesia Scheduling Team to maximize bundling and optimize MD, CRNA and Clinical Support Staff (CSS) utilization across all OBA clients. Partner with ASC clinical and operational leadership to improve workflows and cross-pollinate ASC physicians and CRNAs across the OBA division.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Partner with Talent and HR Teams to support all OBA anesthesiologist, CRNA and CSS recruitment, negotiate compensation packages, and oversee the process from initial leadership conversation through start date to ensure seamless onboarding experience. Partner in hiring and lead the onboarding process from offer and contract execution through Day 1 and continued integration.
  • Team and Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Talent Success Team (TST) and Business Development (BD) teams. Support BD requests for clinical meetings, attend client visits and events as needed, and assist with operational input for new opportunities.
  • Compliance and Quality Monitoring: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, monitor quality metrics, and support ongoing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify and execute initiatives that expand AAC’s footprint and strengthen client relationships within the OBA service line.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field required.
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in surgical, dental, or anesthesia practices.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with both clinical and administrative teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of key performance metrics for practice profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
