As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a key player in improving plant operations — optimizing production processes, driving cost efficiency, and elevating product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Partner daily with production and quality teams to drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance workflow, process design, and productivity.
- Define and control production processes — including documentation, tooling, and equipment specifications.
- Design and maintain product specifications, ensuring accurate BOMs and routing in the ERP system.
- Analyze test and production data to identify trends and recommend process optimizations.
- Lead quality and productivity initiatives using tools such as FMEA, DOE, and statistical analysis.
- Support capital improvement projects and automation initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Establish and maintain testing criteria to ensure compliance with ISO 9000, customer, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure component quality and consistency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within scope.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or industrial engineering (plastics experience highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of process optimization, equipment specification, and automation is required.
- Experience with Application Engineering, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Analysis preferred.
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Design (CAD) design software.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical projects.

The compensation for this position will typically range from $78,000-$126,000 annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
