Title: Logistics Coordinator

Travel: Occasional travel to warehouses in Columbus, OH

Position Overview
As part of our Operations team, you will assist in the shipping processes for the Buying Department, coordinating with multiple vendors to ensure smooth and timely delivery. You will establish strong working relationships with vendors and assist the Buying Department with adjusting and projecting shipping windows for bulk orders. You will also assist in the reconciliation process to ensure accurate receipts, and report on necessary data to track KPIs. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the Logistics Manager with shipment coordination from 3rd Party Vendors to our 3PL, ensuring appropriate remittance and delivery of bulk inventory orders
- Collaborate closely with Buying and Planning departments to track inventory strategies and ensure certain performance metrics are met
- Manage the PO reconciliation process by researching and resolving aging purchase orders as necessary.
- Support the Logistics Manager by analyzing receipts and providing weekly, monthly, and seasonal projections
- Schedule transportation and shipments as necessary.
- Track and fix shipping exceptions and escalate to stakeholders.
- Build relationships with existing vendors, track vendor performance, and enforce vendor compliance
- Identify procurement processes to be improved or made more efficient.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience in procurement, project management, or a relevant logistics role.
- Experience with data analytics, database management, and reporting
- Experience with Vendor Compliance is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Team player with willingness to support other departments
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of retail math is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, with the ability to organize large sets of data
- An analytical, problem-solving personality
- Ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors
