In this position, you would be responsible for directing the sales activities of the dealership and managing the sales team. You will report directly to the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years of dealership, Desking and Finance Experience required.
- Working knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds DMS (Preferred but not necessary)
- Must have a current State Sales License
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)
- Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
Essential Duties, but not limited to:
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all sales associates.
- Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.
- Establishes annual and monthly objectives for unit sales and gross sales for teams with General Sales Manager/General Manager.
- Monitors sales associates’ productivity and performance.
- Understand and be knowledgeable of new- and used-vehicle inventory management, including inventory turns, allocations, and dealer trades.
- Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs.
- Displays merchandise and promotes new- and used vehicles.
- Serves as a liaison between the sales department and other departments.
- Be knowledgeable of expenditures to meet budgetary requirements.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attend managers' meetings as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned.
