Job Summary: Obtains financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Compiles and sorts documents, invoices and checks, verifies and post details of all payables

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

• Communicates with vendors.
• Enters data
• Generates reports
• Issues payments/electronic fund disbursements
• Maintains vendor information
• Records purchases and other payables
• Sets-up vendor information
• Verifies data

Other Responsibilities/Activities:

• Calculates vendor payments
• Codes invoices with correct account code before entering
• Collects all necessary signatures pertaining to invoices before entering.
• Creates and maintains alpha-numeric filing system
• Creates and maintains electronic filing system
• Enters invoices into system for weekly check write
• Examines invoices for correct charges, such as freight, palletizing
• Gathers receiving information to verify invoiced amounts
• Matches paid invoices with corresponding check copy.
• Matches P.O., receiver, and invoice
• Organizes invoices that were entered during the week for weekly check write
• Records each check transaction in ledger books

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

An individual in this job must have attained a minimum of some college and have a minimum of 1-2 years industry experience. Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development activities.

Essential Mental Functions:
The qualified candidate must exhibit good decision making, analytical problem solving, statistical analysis and excellent organizational abilities. Additionally the candidate must be able to communicate effectively, in written and spoken form, and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Must work well in a team environment.  Job requires that work be done at the AAON facility.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Lift up to 25lbs
• Climbing
• Stooping
• Sitting for prolonged periods
• Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
