Principal Engineer en Asurion

You will drive and promote technical initiatives and solutions at various levels as needed to ensure framework consistency. As a team, we will design and deliver high use, high value, framework level APIs.

• Qualifications  

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field required 

• 6+ years of software development experience required, including AWS experience developing Java or Python software, AWS applications supporting Android or iOS applications and embedded software development 

• 4 or more years’ experience with S3, Lambda (Python preferred), API Gateway, EC2, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB , Route 53, VPC, and Cognito. 

• 1+ years of experience working in healthcare business domain, including HL7, EMR, biomed devices, clinical imaging, lab, digital health, HIE, etc. 

• A diversity of industry knowledge (ex. Insurance, internet, CRM, SCM, PRM, etc.). 

• Specific knowledge in most of the following preferred: 

-  CI/CD tools and supporting technologies like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Nexus and Gradle or Maven 

-  AWS IoT, Greengrass, Lex, Polly, Rekognition, Machine Learning, Step Functions, ElastiCache and ElasticSearch 

-  Full-stack development abilities (server, web, iOS/Android) preferred 

- Consumer-facing products vs. IT project work 

- AI and machine learning 

- Computer security and hacking techniques for web applications 

• Able to read technical paper publications 

• Experience being technical leader of small teams 

• Ability to design and implement appropriate infrastructures to support cross platform and cross database environments, provide scalability and multi-node implementation
