MISSION
Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the area's processes and productive resources to fulfill the established manufacturing, quality, cost and safety goals.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise the activities carried out in the area in order to reach the targets defined each year for the manufacturing areas (Assembly, Injection, Painting, etc.).
- Monitor the effective fulfillment of manufacturing programs and define and ensure the implementation of specific action plans in order to fix any problems that may affect the section.
- Ensure production and quality policy standards are met.
- Define and implement the measures necessary to control costs, production and insurance of the processes data in different shifts.
- Report to the Production Manager, or the Plant Manager, regarding the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios in the area of responsibility.
- When there is no Production Manager, take part in the Plant Committee representing the section.
- Communicate lessons learned by participating in technical forums and fill out related database.
- Prepare the yearly budget for the section.
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
- Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OSHE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality department.

Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
