Key Responsibilities
- Engage in strategic planning sessions and execution of the overall corporate development strategy.
- Evaluate partnership opportunities, equity raising alternatives, and strategic initiatives at the enterprise level.
- Oversee the preparation of presentation materials for the Senior Management Team, Board of Directors, and current/potential investors.
- Oversee and review financial models and valuation analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Supervise and coordinate due diligence efforts across financial, operational, legal, tax, and market assessments.
- Participate in negotiations and structuring of transactions, working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, and industry contacts to generate high-quality deal flow.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, capital markets, investments, legal, and portfolio management to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
- Guide comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.
- Mentor and develop the corporate development team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading and executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of capital structure and financing alternatives.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
