As we continue to grow, we’re thrilled to announce our expansion into the Houston, Texas market while seeking a passionate, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team on-site.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives on building meaningful connections, driving business growth, and contributing to our continued success. In this role, you will identify, engage, and qualify prospective business sellers and strategic partners through proactive outbound outreach initiatives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to identify and engage potential business sellers or partners.
  • Quality leads based on predefined criteria and schedule discovery meetings for senior sales or acquisition teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and lead status in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve lead generation strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Meet or exceed monthly KPIs related to outreach volume, lead conversion, and pipeline growth.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably B2B).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections with professionalism.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and outreach platforms.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, or business brokerage is a plus.
  • Understanding business valuation and seller motivations.
  • Ability to tailor messaging to different industries and business sizes.
