Market Intelligence & Opportunity Analyst (Emerging Markets)
About the Role
We are building a venture incubation team within Analog Devices, Inc. to identify and create the next generation of high-growth businesses. As a Market Intelligence & Opportunity Analyst, you will be responsible for scanning global markets, spotting weak signals, sizing opportunities, and identifying disruptive trends before they mature. Your work will directly feed into the company’s exploration pipeline and guide customer discovery and venture building efforts.
You will thrive in this role if you are analytically rigorous, commercially curious, and excited about technology frontiers—from AI to climate tech to digital health and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and analyze emerging technologies, industries, and macro trends using data, analyst reports, and primary sources.
- Develop market sizing models (TAM/SAM/SOM), growth forecasts, and competitive landscapes.
- Track venture capital deal flow, startup ecosystems, regulatory changes, and research lab breakthroughs.
- Distill complex information into concise opportunity briefs for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a systematic opportunity funnel: scanning → prioritization → hand-off to customer discovery team.
- Partner with entrepreneurs-in-residence and customer researchers to validate the most promising opportunities.
- Present insights to senior leadership with clear strategic recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years experience in market intelligence, strategy consulting, corporate development, VC/PE research, or technology research roles.
- Strong quantitative skills: market modeling, data analysis, financial projections.
- Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of qualitative/quantitative data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with innovation trends and emerging tech domains (AI, sustainability, mobility, healthcare, fintech, industrial automation, etc.).
- Strong secondary research skills (analyst reports, academic literature, deal databases, patents, startup trackers).
- Comfort with data visualization and storytelling tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Pitch, Notion).
- Excellent communication—able to brief executives with clarity and conviction.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in ambiguity, comfortable with “80/20” insights.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to venture capital investment processes (deal sourcing, due diligence).
- Experience working in corporate innovation, venture studios, or think tanks.
- Basic understanding of technology development cycles (from R&D to commercialization).

Shift Type: 1st Shift/DaysThe expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $106,500 to $159,750.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
