Rabobank North America is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Benefits Manager to lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of our employee benefits programs across the US, Canada, and Mexico. You and Your Job

As a Benefits Manager you will be successful in leading the design, implementation, and administration of benefits programs that align with our Human Capital strategy.

Develops, implements, administers, and maintains benefits programs, policies, and procedures in the US and Canada. Oversees Mexico programs. Ensures programs meet Human Capital strategy requirements, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. Develops benefits communications and counsels employees on benefits related issues. Evaluates existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine market competitiveness based on trends and developments. Interaction with others is critical to the role as the position serves as a key point of contact for all benefit matters.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and key contact for all benefit-related matters.

  • Oversee 401(k) and retiree benefit programs, and act as a fiduciary on retirement and health committees.

  • Manage annual open enrollment, vendor relationships, and regulatory reporting (ERISA, COBRA, etc.).

  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on benefits policies and practices.

  • Present benefit communications in-person and virtually, ensuring clarity and engagement.

  • Collaborate across departments to achieve strategic goals.

  • Knowledge of labor law regulations required.

  • Computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel, Outlook and Internet required. Strong research, writing and communications skills are essential.

  • Must possess excellent human relations and communication skills and work effectively without direct supervision.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills required.

  • Exhibits high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive employee information.

  • This position requires the use of tact, discretion and good judgment. Experience managing areas including Benefits, Employee Relations, etc.

  • Must exhibit ability to make administrative decisions.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
