Asset Protection Specialist-Supporting Lululemon en Triumph Protection Group, Inc.

Job Summary

The DC Asset Protection Specialist will be critical to the success of the Security & Risk Global fulfillment team and in creating a safe space for our distribution center teams to work and thrive. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our organization's physical assets, personnel, and facilities. This role will involve the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive physical security programs, as well as monitoring and responding to any physical security threats.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, service, and configuration of approved physical security components which may consist of: Access control, Intrusion detection, CCTV, perimeter barriers.
• Assist in developing and maintaining training programs, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead cross functional teams including stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and project managers to deliver advanced security solutions to the highest standards.
• Utilize technological solutions and strategies to reduce unwanted criminal activity and streamline investigation process.
• Train and mentor stake holders on best-practices utilizing electronic security devices and systems.
• Assist with physical security assessments and gap analysis throughout our global network of fulfilment centers.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency and support with the implementation of improvement plans.
• Serve as subject matter expert
• Ensure the facility has the required CTPAT or PIP physical security measures in place.

 Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree desired.
• Mastery of video management software and access control systems.
• At least 3 years’ experience in distribution center asset protection, GSOC, physical security project management, or corporate security.
• Proficient with investigation tactics and strategies.
• Ability to work independently and cross functionally with little to no supervision.
• Sound Decision Maker – be agile, balance multiple priorities and make the best decision to support our teams and the business goals.
• Industry recognized training and certifications
• Knowledge of asset protection principles and practices
• Strong proficiency in Windows PC applications:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.

 Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include: 

• Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
• Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
