This is a hybrid position based out of Austin, TX.

KEDPLASMA specializes in the collection and procurement of high-quality plasma that is processed into plasma-based therapies Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is an international company specializing in the collection and fractionation of blood plasma to produce and distribute plasma-derived therapeutic products. Our therapies help treat and prevent serious diseases, including Hemophilia, Primary Immune System Deficiencies, and Rh-Sensitization.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and service-minded IT Support Specialist to join our IT Operations team. In this role, you’ll support corporate, regional, and center users with NexLynk and other critical applications, ensuring smooth operations across desktops, laptops, and connected devices. You’ll be the first line of support, resolving incidents quickly and documenting issues clearly for escalation when needed.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users, resolving common IT problems and service requests.

  • Troubleshoot NexLynk workflows to distinguish between break/fix and training-related issues.

  • Monitor application ticket queues and prioritize high-impact incidents.

  • Maintain and support desktop, laptop, kiosk, and mobile systems, including printers and PDAs.

  • Assist in implementing new applications, hardware, and updates across departments.

  • Work with Service Desk leadership to identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

  • Provide on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled.

  • Maintain strong documentation standards and communicate clearly with users and technical teams.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent training/experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in a PC desktop/laptop support environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and network printers.

  • Familiarity with browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox), antivirus, and remote access tools.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.

  • Customer-first mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure.
