Position Summary:
This position is full time,tenure-track in the Department of Applied Psychology and Counselor Education,located on our main campus in Greeley, Colorado with additional teaching in ourextended campus programs in Denver and Loveland. Responsibilities includeteaching graduate courses in our CACREP accredited master’s and doctoral degreeprograms (Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Couples, Marriage, and FamilyCounseling/Therapy; School Counseling; Counselor Education and Supervisionprograms). The person in this position will serve in a nine-month contract.
Job Duties:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching (60%),research (including dissertation research advising) 20%, and service (20%).Individuals should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with othersand possess a commitment to diversity and social justice. Individuals fromunderrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. The successfulcandidate may also supervise practicum students in our on-site training clinicor in external placements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Earned PhD in Counselor Education& Supervision from a CACREP Accredited Program. Licensed orLicense-Eligible as a School Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor inthe State of Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching graduate-levelcounseling courses.
- Experience supervisingpracticum and internship students in clinical or school settings.
- Evidence of effective academicadvising and mentoring of graduate students.
- Commitment to diversity,equity, and inclusion in counselor education.
- Record of service toprofessional organizations (e.g., ACA, ASCA, ACES).
- Active engagement in scholarlyactivities related to counseling or counselor education.
- Experience with CACREPaccreditation processes and standards.
- Experience collaborating withschools, community agencies, or clinical settings.
- Ability to contribute to programdevelopment and curriculum innovation.
- Experience mentoring doctoral students inresearch, dissertation development, and scholarly writing.
