About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Group Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic S4 - Group Reporting team based in London. This role is essential for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of our financial results, covering everything from the meticulous monthly close and intercompany eliminations to the preparation of our half-year and year-end external financial statements. Responsibilities:

Month-End Close Process

  • Supporting the monthly close process to ensure timely and efficient reporting, including review of divisional TB submissions and cash flows within the consolidation system.
  • Assisting with the intercompany reconciliation and elimination process.
  • Collaborating with finance teams to ensure financial reporting requirements are met.
  • Providing technical accounting support to finance teams on complex accounting topics.

External Reporting Process

  • Supporting the year end and half year external reporting process.
  • Preparation of financial statement sections, including review of submissions from global finance teams.

Other Objectives

  • Support one-off projects, e.g., systems (ERP/reporting tools) implementation or upgrades.
  • Continuously improving reporting outputs, processes, and systems.
  • Manage and build relationships with internal stakeholders and teams and external auditors.

 

About You

The essentials:

  • 1-2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a group reporting, audit, or technical accounting function, with exposure to group consolidations is highly desirable.
  • A qualified chartered accountant (e.g., ACA/ACCA).
  • Working knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of consolidation systems is an advantage.
  • Relevant industry experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with local and global finance teams.
  • Able to work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
