PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The SR Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding client relationships within Hedgepoint Professional Services. This role focuses on providing tailored solutions in commodity derivatives, supporting risk management strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction. The SR Relationship Manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients, bridging commercial needs with technical solutions, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality service.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong and lasting relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide consultative support in commodity derivatives and structured solutions.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers to design and implement risk management strategies.
- Deliver presentations, market insights, and reports to clients, providing actionable recommendations.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (Sales, Trading, Operations, Quant) to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Monitor client activity, performance, and satisfaction, proactively addressing issues or opportunities.
- Support business development efforts by identifying cross-selling opportunities and new prospects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commodities, derivatives, and market trends.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Finance, or related field. Master’s preferred.
- Deep knowledge in commodity derivatives, especially in OTC derivatives.
- Proven track record of consistent revenue generation in sales
- Proven track record of business development in derivatives sales
- 4–6 years of experience in relationship management, client advisory, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of derivatives, commodities, and structured solutions.
- Proficiency in commodity fundamental analysis as well as technical analysis.
- Deep understanding of the sugar, coffee, and cocoa markets.
- Fluency in English & Spanish.
- Proficiency in Portuguese as a differential
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Good knowledge of the business culture of Latin American, and African companies.
LOCATION: Zurich, Zurich - Up to twice a week at the base office (Hybrid)
