Job Description: Under the direction of Manager, Clinical Systems Pharmacist - Pharmacist D/Degree Senior is committed to the integration of knowledge, skills and abilities in the provision of quality client focused pharmacy services within the SHA Pharmacy Services. The incumbent is a campaigner/authoritative resource on clinical pharmacy systems application; a resource on organizational application of pharmacy automation; works across the SHA to enhance the medication use system by applying software or hardware to enhance clinical decision support tools and medication distribution; is involved in the implementation/maintenance of pharmacy specific clinical systems. The incumbent maintains pharmacy computer system applications used in SHA and is an inter-professional liaison, working with pharmacy staff, nursing, physicians, Digital Health, eHealth, pharmacy automation vendors and other members of the care team. Travel may be required within SHA.

Experience

  • Two years hospital pharmacy experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP)Entry-level Degree

Licenses

  • Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • CPRB certification from an accredited Pharmacy Residency Prgram is an asset

Memberships

  • Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
  • Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS)

Other Education and Training

  • Entry level PharmD is acceptable
