POSITION SUMMARY

 

At Miraval Arizona, our Housekeeping team plays a vital role in creating a serene and restorative environment for every guest. The Housekeeping Supervisor supports this mission by guiding daily operations with intention, care, and a commitment to excellence. This role assists in overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas, while nurturing a culture of respect, collaboration, and mindful service. In partnership with the Housekeeping Leadership Team, the Supervisor helps manage staffing, training, inventory, and departmental standards to ensure every space reflects Miraval’s values of wellbeing, tranquility, and hospitality.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and distribution of daily assignments to ensure efficient departmental flow

  • Utilize available resources to meet operational goals and uphold service standards

  • Participate in ongoing training and development of housekeeping and laundry staff

  • Conduct daily property tours to identify areas requiring special attention or maintenance

  • Perform room inspections to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to Miraval standards

  • Monitor the performance and productivity of room attendants

  • Ensure timely completion and follow-up of work orders in collaboration with Engineering

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with Front Office and Engineering teams

  • Help oversee the maintenance and functionality of housekeeping equipment

  • Support the housekeeping role pertaining to lost and found items

  • Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, storage spaces, and work areas are maintained to departmental standards

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across Housekeeping and Laundry departments

  • Respond to guest requests related to housekeeping with timeliness and care

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

  • Uphold all safety procedures and contribute to a culture of wellbeing and accountability

  • Assist with additional responsibilities as requested to support resort operations

  • Track inventory levels and ensure readiness for business demands

  • Intermediate proficiency in property management systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word

  • Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency preferred
