Director - Budget & Financial Analysis, Health Sciences en University of Pittsburgh

As the Director - Budget & Financial Analysis, Health Sciences, this position will work as an integral part of the SVCHS Finance Team regarding budgeting and financial analysis activities for the SVCHS Office of Administration and the six schools of the Health Sciences while ensuring compliance of all activities and alignment with policies, procedures and regulations. 

Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI and/or Tabelau and leading the Schools' development and implementation of financial performance and other types of data visualization desired. 

Oversees financial and budgetary operations and ensures compliance of all activities with all policies, procedures, and regulations. Prepares and reconciles budgets, allocates funds, and oversees the budget modification process and audit scheduling. Establishes goals, implementation strategies, and financial systems.

Ability to work in a complex and strategic environment. 

Ability to set policies and anticipate trends. 

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in significant matters.

Ability to exemplify a high level of problem solving skills. 

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
