We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist / Team Lead to guide our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team—a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping individuals living with severe mental illness and substance use challenges regain stability and independence through holistic, community-based care.

Your Role in Our Mission

As the Team Lead, you’ll ensure that the ACT Team delivers exceptional, person-centered services while fostering collaboration, ethics, and excellence in every aspect of care. Each day will bring opportunities to empower both clients and your team—transforming lives through consistent, compassionate, and accountable leadership.

You will:

  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring best practices in behavioral health and recovery-oriented care.
  • Manage daily operations including scheduling, timesheets, billing, documentation, and utilization reviews.
  • Participate directly in client care through assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Psychiatric Care Provider and other team members to ensure integrated, high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead daily team meetings and ensure timely, accurate documentation in the Welligent EMR system.
  • Oversee referral screenings and person-centered planning meetings.
  • Provide on-call crisis intervention as part of a rotating schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience and licensure)

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid North Carolina license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or LPC) required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with adults living with severe mental illness, including at least 1 year post-graduate
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in community-based settings
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
