Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing early childhood educators. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development and Delivery: Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards to support holistic growth.

Classroom Management: Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and respect among students.

Child Assessment: Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and sharing updates with parents/guardians through regular reports and conferences.

Parent Communication: Build strong relationships with families, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns or questions.

Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, co-teachers, and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.

Safety and Well-Being: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety regulations and responding promptly to any incidents.

Professional Development: Stay current with early childhood education best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Indiana teaching certificate as listed above.
- Experience is preferred but not necessary for hiring.
- Eligible candidates must hold an Indiana Teaching Certificate** to teach the following courses:
