Compliance Analyst en Empath Health

Empath Health is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our Organizational Excellence team. In this role, the Compliance Analyst will serve as the bridge between compliance and clinical operations, information technology, and data management; ensuring the organization's systems and data adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards. This Compliance Analyst will analyze data, identify potential risks, and develop solutions to mitigate compliance issues.

What You’ll Do

• Develop databases and schedules and adhere to a clear timeline of the agency’s legal and regulatory time- sensitive requirements.
• Share knowledge and technical expertise with others in the workplace and demonstrate openness to learn from others.
• Work with various departments (e.g., IT, legal, clinical) to ensure a holistic approach to compliance.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential compliance gaps.
• Develop and implement relevant, objective measurement systems and reporting tools to identify opportunities improvement and inform strategic planning and decision-making.
• Monitor the accuracy, completeness, and validity of reporting prior to distribution and ensure the integrity of data through ongoing analysis.
• Exercise excellent collaborative skills with internal and external partners to influence and assure organizational compliance with all laws and regulations.
• Artificial Intelligence solutions and Electronic Medical Record compliance liaison
• Actively seek new opportunities to learn and grow throughout the year.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information management or related field.
• 3-5 years prior experience working in a clinical information systems and/or analytics environment.
• Familiarity with process/performance improvement methodologies, implementing change; risk assessments; and gap analysis; Lean Six Sigma belting preferred.
• Understanding of appropriate clinical workflows, commercially available technology, relational database concepts, and package system implementations.
• Prior experience and demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical records, Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Visio), reporting packages (i.e. Business Objects), and database management (i.e. SQL).
• Self-directed and motivated and able to work as part of a team when necessary. Robust attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
