JOB PURPOSE |
This position is responsible for facilitating all incoming and outbound Class 3 shipments. This individual will work closely with and assist Management with all Class 3 transactions. Responsibilities also include working closely with the pick and pack process to resolve any inventory or compliance issues as well as assisting the Compliance department’s daily operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Systemically process all NFA firearms.
- Verify accuracy of documentation relating to inbound & outbound firearms.
- Maintain all essential documentation relating to FFL’s, SOT’s, and ATF forms.
- Process sales orders as well as purchase orders within the inventory software.
- Maintain bin accuracy in accordance with cycle count policy.
- Physically prepare and package any outbound firearm shipments.
- Maintain temporary assignments of all NFA firearms.
- Communicate and facilitate all NFA firearms needed for Manufacturing use.
- Conduct routine audits of all NFA firearms as well as NFA documentation.
- May be responsible for verifying storage recommendations for product type.
- Identify product discrepancies and communicate all issues to vested parties.
- Oversee process audits to accurately verify that all piece counts on Purchase Orders, Packing Slips and the actual product match when received.
- Participates/Leads in the 5S Program in functional areas.
- Follows the company’s Supply Chain Philosophy. Has a clear understanding of departmental goals and objectives that contribute to the success of the business.
- Ensures the security of the property by adhering to protection and access policies, procedures, and lock up procedures.
- All other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS |

Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Expansive firearm knowledge and/or NFA firearm knowledge a plus
- ATF Bound book experience preferred
- Detail oriented and ability to work under high volume conditions
- Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and duties at the same time.
- Dependable, self-aware and exhibits ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
- Career driven with a desire to grow with the company.
- Maintains a positive attitude, is goal driven and focused on the betterment and overall strategy of the organization.
- A good team player with the ability to take direction and follow through on tasks.
- Able to maintain confidentiality as required.
- Able to own and handle firearms.
WORKING CONDITIONS |
Work is performed in an operational warehouse environment. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend, or holiday hours. Overtime may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, stooping, balancing, hearing. Team members will be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 pounds to 60 pounds. Must be at least 18 years of age.
