Job Summary:

This position is responsible for participating in and spearheading warehouse operations. Repairs and maintains small engines, and fleet vehicles. We are looking for someone who has excellent people and communication skills and can think outside of the box for creative problem-solving.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel, including hydraulic equipment

• Performs preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment.

• Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles

• Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress

• Developing methods to decrease costs and improve efficiency.

• Performs periodic preventive maintenance for vehicles and equipment.

• Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs.

• Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.

• Implements daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse.

• Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.

• Inspects vehicles and equipment.

• Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.

• Load / Unload equipment at various job sites.

• Supervise Perm Yard Employees

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.

• Small Engine / Combustion Engine repair experience required.

• Forklift License Required

• Fleet Vehicle Management Preferred

• Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of fleet management and operations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Spanish Speaking Preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED

• Experience in fleet maintenance preferred.

• Driver’s License Required / CDL preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
