Work Day/Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am OR 6:00am - 6:00pm with rotating days

This position is devoted to providing coordination of data flow, data entry, reporting and processing of warrants, crime and police information as well as providing customer service to the general public.
Responsible for providing administrative support to police officers in the field, by checking, dispatching and maintaining records on warrants, including ensuring that warrants have been served and that the database is updated including entering data; reviewing extradition procedures; ensuring database reflects warrants paid or served; maintaining logs; validating NCIC entries; reconciling entries; maintaining and producing reports from system; and distributing information.
Position Duties
- Provides administrative support to police officers by preparing, reviewing, maintaining, screening, tracking, dispatching, and/or updating warrant and law enforcement-related reports, records, logs, and other documents; updates and maintains databases; reviews and reconciles information; runs reports, queries, or history checks; reviews work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Responds to informational requests, in person, via phone or email in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols; uses two-way radios and phones to communicate with sworn officers; and monitors terminals to communicate and distribute information.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC).
- Three years of customer service and clerical experience.
Other Qualifications
- Valid, unrestricted, North Carolina driver's license "or" if you currently have another states driver's license, must be willing and able to obtain a valid NC driver's license within 60 days of hire is preferred.
