Overview:Maintaining daily release of production line schedules utilizing the MRP scheduling system.Responsibilities:
  • Maintain daily release of production line schedules utilizing the MRP scheduling system.
  • Manage the flow of work to production lines to ensure continuous productions and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Use critical thinking to determine and schedule job shipping dates by analyzing component availability, lead times and production capacity.
  • React to Customer Service requests to expedite specific orders in support of our customers.
  • Produce daily scheduling reports to guide the production floor on when to start new jobs.
  • Work with HSI team to direct BOM Markup completion order based on the schedule
  • Process engineering changes in MRP system and act as liaison between manufacturing and engineering.
  • Create MRP orders for various parts including frames and assemblies
  • Assist in Data Entry during Physical Inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Hussmann experience working in Scheduling or Supply Chain is preferred  
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, BaaN/MRP systems
  • Must be Detail-Oriented, flexible, and able to accept change
  • Demonstrate a willingness to cross-train and work with other areas of Supply Chain
  • Must be able to prioritize and problem solve
  • Must be Team-oriented and able to work cross functionally to accomplish required goals
  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime as required to support production needs
  • Must be able to read and understand units of measure, engineering drawings, bill of materials

Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5 day work week, 8 - 10 hour shift: Sitting 6 - 8 Hours, Walking on Concrete Floor 2 – 4 hrs. Standing 2 - 4 hrs. Lifting/Carrying Frequently, Bending Occasionally, Climbing Frequently, Crawling Occasionally, Squatting Occasionally, Squatting Occasionally Reaching

Frequently, Twisting Frequently Push/Pull - frequently Up to a maximum of 125 lbs.
