Job Title: Food Bank Associate

Reports To: Food Bank Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, part-time 6 hrs. per week
Summary: Provides general Food Bank assistance including but not limited to food and clothing sorting, stocking, repackaging, maintenance and guest assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
- Interacts with donors, volunteers, and SVdP employees in a courteous, welcoming, and appropriate manner.
- Organizing and cleaning counters, appliances, floors and dishes as well as breaking down and sorting boxes based on size and condition.
- Cleaning the helpline, restrooms, sink, toilet and floors and restock supplies as needed.
- Help with food distribution line handing out food items to neighbors in need and restocking the line as needed.
- Organize the clothing racks.
- Works with the proper attitude that exemplifies the Society’s Statement of Values.
