Transportation- Van Driver/CNA

• Starting wage is between $22.30 and $26.38
• Monday- Friday (7:30am-4:00pm)
• CNA Certification Required
• Must be at least 26 years of age
• Must have a clean driving record

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

• Certified within the state of ND as a Certified Nursing Assistant, or must have completed a ND state-approved training course and be certified as a CNA in North Dakota within 120 days of the date of hire.

DESCRIPTION

Transportation Drivers help ensure the safe and reliable transportation of residents to medical appointments, between Valley Senior Living facilities, and other locations within the community. Your role is essential in providing dependable service to meet the transportation needs of our residents.

FUNCTIONS

• Understand and follow basic concepts of infection control, including the use of universal precautions. Consistently practices good hand hygiene techniques.
• Maintain safety standards as established by Valley Senior Living, including use of safe operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents.
• Perform Range of Motion, transfers, and assist with ambulation following established procedures.
• Understand and follow federal and state Residents Rights, including providing privacy, confidentiality, and promoting dignity.
• Interact effectively with residents, visitors, and all members of the health care team.
• Provide post‑mortem care to the resident.
• Adapt the physical environment in response to residents’ individual needs (light, air, temperature, noise, etc.
• Assist and direct visitors as directed.
