POSITION:  Adjunct Faculty - Undergraduate Nursing

QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduate degree with a BSN, or BSN and currently enrolled in a graduate program, or BSN with additional credentials, relevant clinical nursing experience, active RN license in Virginia

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the undergraduate nursing program, teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. Includes part of the following:

  • Undergraduate nursing clinical instruction, in person, at a clinical agency:
    • NURS 304 Fundamentals Practicum I
    • NURS 323 Psychosocial Nursing
    • NURS 320 Adult Health Practicum I
    • NURS 420 Adult Health Practicum II
    • NURS 429 Leadership Practicum

 

POSITION DETAILS: Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education. 

 

APPOINTMENT DATE: Spring Semester, January through May 2026. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open. Clinical rotations vary in length and timing on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the semester.
